Cricfy TV for Android TV
Install Cricfy TV on Android TV devices. Direct APK sideloading guide for Sony, TCL, Xiaomi, Hisense, and other Android TV brands with USB and wireless methods.
Android TV provides the most straightforward television installation experience for Cricfy TV because it runs the same operating system as the phones the app was designed for. The APK can be sideloaded directly without additional hardware or complicated workarounds.
Brands using Android TV include Sony, TCL, Xiaomi (Mi TV), Hisense, Vu, Thomson, Kodak, and many others. Google TV devices (like the Chromecast with Google TV) are also Android TV-based and support the same sideloading process.
Method 1: USB Drive Installation
Download APK to a USB Drive
Download the Cricfy TV APK from our download guide onto a USB flash drive using your computer. Make sure the drive is formatted as FAT32 (most USB drives already are).
Enable Unknown Sources
On your Android TV, go to Settings → Security & Restrictions (or Settings → Device Preferences → Security) and enable "Unknown Sources." You may need to enable this specifically for a file manager app.
Connect USB to TV
Plug the USB drive into your Android TV's USB port. A notification should appear asking what to do with the drive.
Install Using File Manager
Use a file manager app (many Android TVs include one pre-installed, or install "File Commander" or "X-plore" from the Play Store) to navigate to the USB drive and locate the APK file. Select it and choose "Install."
Method 2: Wireless Transfer with "Send Files to TV"
Install the "Send Files to TV" app on both your Android TV (from Play Store) and your phone. Open the app on both devices — they will discover each other on the same Wi-Fi network. Send the APK from your phone to the TV wirelessly, then install it on the TV. This avoids needing a USB drive entirely.
Navigation Experience
Cricfy TV version 5.0+ includes basic support for D-pad navigation, making it functional with a standard TV remote. Use directional buttons to navigate the channel list, select button to start a stream, and back button to return. The experience is smoother than on non-Android TVs because the app runs natively rather than through mirroring.
